After Rishabh Pant stunned everyone with his counter-attacking knock of 146 on Day 1 of the fifth Test between India and England, Ravindra Jadeja made everyone stand and applaud for himself as the batter scored a magnificent hundred. Jadeja reached his first overseas hundred with an impactful shot that took the ball to the boundary ropes.

Ravindra Jadeja slapped a wide ball from Matthew Potts to get to his century on Day 2 of the Test. After completing his century, the southpaw brought out his famous ‘sword celebration’ to celebrate his third Test hundred. After enacting his ‘sword celebration’ Ravindra Jadeja then took off the helmet to acknowledge the applause from the crowd and his teammates.

Sir Jadeja, you're magnificent!

This knock from Jadeja earned praise for him from all corners. From fans to former cricketers, everyone applauded the all-rounder for his valuable knock of 104. Former India leg-spinner Amit Mishra was all praise for the Indian batter as he called him magnificent.

"He came when all the big guns failed, absorbed all the pressure, contributed in a partnership and then scored a wonderful hundred. This has been one of the most mature innings I’ve seen. Sir Jadeja, you are magnificent!" tweeted Mishra.
