After an entertaining beginning to IPL 2021, match no. 8 between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings also witnessed an action-packed start. There were few brilliant moments inside in the early part of game as MS Dhoni's men are looking in some mood to silence the critics. It was Deepak Chahar who started the party for the Yellow Army after he clean-bowled Mayank Agarwal with a peach of a delivery. However, it was India's best fielder Ravindra Jadeja, who added cherry on the cake, by producing a sensational effort on the field, something he is known for.
Jadeja magic is back
The first incident happened on the fifth delivery of third over. Chahar bowled a nice delivery to Chris Gayle as he tried to sneak a single. KL Rahul, standing at the other end, responded as he ran towards the danger end. Jadeja, standing at backward point, appeared in a flash and hit the stumps with an accurate throw. Sunil Gavaskar, who was doing commentary at that time, was in awe of Jadeja as he said, "Unbelievable. He had only one stump to aim at. Brilliant fielding."
