Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli does not shy away from throwing himself around on the field. While he has already taken a few terrific catches on the field, he was close to completing another catch- an effort that would have taken a while to sink in. Despite it not being a catch, Kohli's stunning save made for a wonderful viewing for spectators as he put on a full-length dive to save a bullet shot from Rajasthan Royals' all-rounder Chris Morris.

The effort happened in the penultimate over of the Rajasthan innings which was being bowled by Mohammed Siraj. While the first two balls had gone for just a single each, the Men in Pink were looking for some quick runs to end the innings on a high.

Consequently, Morris went for an extravagant shot and seemed to have timed it to perfection until Kohli out of nowhere not only leaped towards the ball but even took the ball on the full, all in one motion.

The Bangalore skipper was also quick to throw it back and what looked like a shot going towards the boundary did not even go for a single. The effort from Kohli has gone viral on the internet.

Meanwhile, Bangalore stitched a great fight in the ongoing match at the Dubai International Stadium. While Rajasthan had reached 100/1 in 11 overs and it looked like there will be the first 200-plus total of the UAE leg of this season, that wasn't to be as the Bangalore bowlers brought them back in big time.

Eventually, Rajasthan ended their innings at 149/9. Harshal Patel (3/34), Yuzvendra Chahal (2/18) and Shahbaz Ahmed (2/10) were the pick of the bowlers for the Bangalore side. Openers Evin Lewis (58) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (31) were the top run-getters for the Rajasthan side but neither of them batted through the innings to help them reach the total they would have liked.

If Rajasthan win they will join Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians to 10 points but if Bangalore can clinch the two points they will reach 14 points.
