After Korea Open, the action shifted to the Korea Masters on 12 April, which got culminated on 17 April, Sunday. The two-time world championship bronze medalist He Bingjiao secured the victory in the women’s singles against the Olympic champion, Chen Yu Fei 21-14, 14-21, 21-9.

However, it was not the highlight of this tournament, as something unimaginable happened earlier as well. On the action-packed day of semi-finals on 16 April, South Korea’s Baek Ha Na and Lee Yu Rim and China's Du Yue and Li Wen Mei were up against each other to seal their place in an all-important final.

During the pursuit of a place in the final, the four players were involved in a record-breaking 195-shot rally that went on for three minutes and 20 seconds. The official account of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) on Twitter posted the video of the same.

The duo of the home team finally prevailed over their opponents 21-18, 19-21, 21-16 in a thrilling round of games. As per the Guinness record, a 154-shot rally was witnessed in a match between Petya Nedelcheva (Bulgaria) and Anastasia Russkikh (Russia) and Shizuka Matsuo and Mami Naito (both Japan) in the second round of the 2010 Swiss Open in Basel, Switzerland.

However, the record-breaking duo was beaten in the finals 21-17, 21-12 by their compatriots Kim So-Yeong and Kong Hee-Yong.

In the other round of results, Kim Gi-Jung and Kim Sa-rang emerged as the men’s doubles champion by securing victory over Tokyo Olympics medalists Liu Yuchen and Ou Xuanyi 21-14, 21-16.
