The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has kicked off and there is a lot of cricketing action on the platter for the fans. The second game of the season is being played between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals. And everyone knows when it's Rishabh Pant out in the middle, things are bound to happen.

The Delhi cricketer is famous for his chirps from behind the wicket. Pant is a light-hearted guy who likes to fool around seniors and Rohit Sharma is undoubtedly one of his favorite people to go to. The duo is often seen sharing light moments whether it's on the field or off it. The same happened during the toss of Match 2 of IPL 2022.

As the two captains walked out for the flip of the coin in the middle, they were seen constantly chatting. Pant then won the toss and decided to bowl first. But what followed was too funny for Rohit. As per the ritual in the league, the two captains are supposed to pose for a picture after the toss, but Rishabh Pant was too involved to remember where the camera was. Looking at Pant searching for the camera, Rohit took a slight dig at the DC captain for his inattentiveness.

Pant forgets name of his players

The aforementioned incident came late at the toss, but one came during it. After winning the toss, Pant revealed that his team would bowl first. But when it came to naming all eleven players of DC selected to play against MI, Pant found himself sweating. The DC skipper named the first six to seven players but could not remember the name of the rest of his teammates. "That's a lot of names to remember," said Pant in his defense.

Notably, DC fielded an eleven with only two overseas players (Tim Seifert and Rovman Powell) with most of their foreign players on national duty.
