Rishabh Pant is indeed one of the most fun characters in Indian cricket right now, as he often comes up with some of the most unexpected but hilarious moments. From making some rib-tickling comments while wicket-keeping during the match to pulling off pranks in the dressing room, the 24-year-old never misses an opportunity to have some enjoyment and he got his chance during final match of IND vs WI ODI series.

However, Pant's latest prank on Friday wasn't received well by Rohit Sharma, who is usually cool and calm. Ahead of the 3rd ODI in Ahmedabad, the players were getting ready on the field with their pre-match routine.

Hitman, who is India's captain, was walking and looked in a deep state of thought. With 4 changes in playing XI, a lot would have been going through Hitman's mind before the start of the contest. This is when Rishabh Pant appeared in the scene and while doing his warm-up drills, he scared Hitman with a running kick.

India's captain did not look too impressed with Pant's act as the wicket-keeper's smile on face suggested that it was an intentional prank from him. The youngster seemed to have got a scolding from his captain, as Rohit was seen saying a few angry words to Pant following the incident.

While it was indeed a hilarious moment for the fans to watch, Rishabh Pant might have learnt a lesson. He might not do something like this with Rohit again, especially before the start of a match. However, the 24-year-old did make immense for his cheeky prank on captain with his brilliant batting later, where his 56-run knock guided his side to a competitive total of 265 in IND vs WI 3rd ODI.
