The 2022 edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup is just a few months away and the buzz around the same is already unmatchable. With Australia selected as the host for the event, the International Cricket Council (ICC) launched a new promo involving Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant and Sydney Harbor on July 10.

The global cricket governing body shared a 30-second-long video on its social media handles. In the video, India’s wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant’s giant avatar is seen emerging out of the Sydney Harbor and then walking on the roads of the city with the citizens failing to believe their eyes. “Welcome to The Big Time, Rishabh Pant,” read the caption of the social media post.

Notably, the eighth edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is all set to be played from 16 October to 13 November in Australia. India have been kept in Group 2 alongside Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa, Group B winner, and Group A runner-up.

The Men in Blue will open their campaign against neighbors Pakistan on 24 October. They will then play Group A runner up, South Africa, Bangladesh, and Group B winners respectively in their next four group matches.

Earlier, the International Cricket Council (ICC) had shared a video of Glenn Maxwell’s giant avatar walking on the streets of Melbourne as a part of their BigTime campaign. New Zealand's captain Kane Williamson was also featured in one of the promo videos of this campaign. A few days ago, Pant had challenged Maxwell and had asked him to wait for his time.

"Hey everyone! Rishabh Pant here. Thought I would check out some T20 World Cup content. I have got a big reveal coming soon. Wow! Look at Maxwell. He is looking bigger than normal. If you think Maxi is looking big, wait until you see who is coming up next." In the caption of the Instagram reel, Rishabh wrote: "Is this all you can do Maxi? Let me show you how it is done."
