Rajasthan Royals look like a solid team on paper this IPL season. While they have had a few good sides in the past as well, somehow, the results have never gone their way except for the inaugural season where they looked like the underdogs. However, things have started on a positive note this year. Not only did Rajasthan register a dominant win in their first game, but they also posted 193/8 batting first in the second match against Mumbai Indians.

Later, RR have even managed to get rid of Rohit Sharma early. The Hitman departed trying to look for a boundary on the off side as he went for a cut towards the point region. However, he was unable to place it and played it straight to Riyan Parag, who was positioned there, who grabbed a smart, low catch after the ball had travelled there rather quickly.

Following the Mumbai Indians' departure for 10 runs, here is how the Rajasthan fielders started celebrating.

Earlier, Jos Buttler scored the maiden hundred of IPL 2022. The Englishman was fantastic and reached the milestone with the help of 11 fours and five maximums. Other than Buttler, Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer's cameos also aided the Men in Pink to post the eventual strong total.

However, Mumbai Indians would feel that they have managed to curtain Rajasthan by a few runs, conceding only 11 runs in the final 2 overs and picking 5 wickets.
