Speaking of Rohit, BCCI informed on Saturday that the skipper has tested Covid positive and has been isolated under the close watch of the medical team. Rohit Sharma was a part of the Indian squad in the recently concluded 4-day warm-up game against Leicestershire.
On the last day of the game, Rohit Sharma didn’t take part in the game and later it was revealed that he has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and was asked to stay in isolation. Mayank Agarwal has been included in the Indian Test squad for the fifth and final Test against England, whereas, there is no confirmation on who will captain India in case The Hitman fails to recover in time.
