The New Orleans Pelicans continue to defy all odds as they defeat the number one seeded Phoenix Suns 118-103 victory. This win was led by another quality performance by Brandon Ingram’s 30 points with four rebounds and five assists. He also was supported by Jonas Valanciunas who dropped 26 points with 15 rebounds and four assists.

The Suns never quite looked in the game without their best offensive player, Devin Booker who got injured in the second game of the series. For Phoenix, Deandre Ayton led with 23 points and eight rebounds while fellow centre JaVale McGee also added 14 points. But the player who held the Suns back was Chris Paul who was restricted to four points in 35 minutes. CP3 also had 11 assists while committing three turnovers.

The Point God was monumental in Phoenix's two playoff wins as he had 19 points in the fourth quarters of those games. NOP rookie guard Jose Alvarado also took advantage of the dejected Chris Paul as he sneakily pickpocketed him in his signature fashion. During the fourth quarter, Paul was dribbling the ball up the court when Alvarado ambushed him from the back and stole the ball the away.

The Georgia Tech alumni scored five points with two rebounds, two steals and one assist. Two out of his five points capped off an incredible Pelicans run where he got fouled and they took a 101-85 lead. Alvarado also managed to get Chris Paul an eight seconds violation as he put on the clamps on the Point God.
