Andre Russell is surely one of the best finishers IPL has ever witnessed. Often remembered for his valuables hits to bring his side to victory, Russell was on the verge to replicate the same against Chennai Super Kings in Match 15 of the ongoing IPL. Having bedazzled everyone with his half-century, Andre Russell's error in adjustment in the game, which cost him his wicket, might have broken a lot of hearts of the KKR fanatics.

The Caribbean giant, who was blossoming on 54 off just 21 balls, had unleashed his very best to stamp his authority on every bowler he faced until then. But as MS Dhoni called upon Sam Curran for his second spell in the 12th over, the left-arm pacer deceived Russell with a sensational ball. The West Indian all-rounder moved away from the delivery, exposing the in-swinging ball that cleaned up his leg stump.

Andre Russell seemed to have returned back to his very best after scoring a furious half century in a period where KKR scored 80 runs off 36 balls. But as Curran bowled his second delivery, Russell shuffled across his stumps too much, not realising that his wickets could get tumbled in the process.

The KKR marquee player was devastated as he was dismissed and was seen sitting with head towards the ground on the staircase to the pavilion.
