Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) locked horns in Match 63. RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and decided to bat first. His decision was proved right by the RR batters as they put up 178/6 in their 20 overs. After that, the bowlers also kept Lucknow batters in check with their disciplined bowling.

LSG lost three of their batters inside the first six overs and found themselves tottering at 34/3 after the first six overs. However, Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya put up a partnership to bail LSG out. While Krunal perished to a brilliant relay catch by Jos Buttler and Riyan Parag, Hooda continued with his innings.

The right-handed batter was looking set and was finding timely boundaries as well. With him in the middle, RR looked worried. But Yuzvendra Chahal had other plans for Hooda. The leggie spotted Hooda coming down the pitch and then bowled into his body. As a result, the batter could just edge the ball which went to Sanju Samson.

It looked like an easy runout chance but Samson fumbled and it seemed he will miss the opportunity to get the big wicket. The RR wicketkeeper could not break the stumps on his first attempt but managed to do it on the second attempt. However, as he was unsure about doing it cleanly, he took out one of the stumps to ensure the runout is affected in accordance with the rules. The whole episode looked really funny on the screen.
