The contest between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals has been an extremely surprising match for the fans as last year's runners-up failed to replicate their brilliance with the bat in the ongoing game against Sanju Samson's men, who had ended last IPL season at the bottom-spot in the table. On the other hand, RR produced some scintillating action on the field on Thursday. After the skipper himself took a flying catch to dismiss Shikhar Dhawan, it was the Riyan Parag show that followed later.

Parag's special effort to dismiss Pant

The RR all-rounder has had a really impressive day on the field in Mumbai. Firstly, Parag came up with an athletic effort to save 5 runs for his side when he took a sensational catch and threw the ball in play as he went over the boundary. The all-rounder was handed the ball after that and was in the middle of an economical over when he produced a moment of sheer magic.

A well-set Rishabh Pant, batting on 51, tried to sneak a single after nudging the ball towards the left of Parag. The 19-year-old chased the ball quickly and picked it up. Meanwhile, Samson shouted "maar de", Parag followed the instructions and hit the stumps at the non-striker's end with an accurate throw. The Assam boy celebrated in style as he performed the traditional 'Bihu dance'.
