In a brilliant team performance, India Legends beat Bangladesh Legends comprehensively by 10 wickets. Chasing a modest total, Sehwag hammered the bowlers all over the ground in an explosive display of power-hitting. Earlier, a superb bowling performance from spinners helped India skittle out Bangladesh for 109.

Sachin Tendulkar (33*) and Virender Sehwag (80*) starred as India Legends made it 3 wins out of 3 in the Road Safety World Series. The duo added fifty runs from just 3.5 overs while chasing 110 runs. Sehwag, in particular looked in devastating form as he started the proceedings with a trademark opening-ball boundary.What followed was complete carnage as Sehwag took centre-stage with his ferocious shots. The Nawab of Najafgarh ran the show as he completed his half-century in just 20 deliveries. Incidentally, it also became Sehwag’s record-equalling fastest fifty in competitive cricket. He had earlier smashed a half-century in 20 balls against Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2012.

Disciplined Bowling Display by Indian spinners

Earlier, Yuvraj Singh (2/15) and Pragyan Ojha (2/12) produced a fantastic spell of spin bowling as India Legends restricted Bangladesh Legends to a modest total of 109. It was an exceptional bowling performance from Tendulkar’s side as Vinay Kumar, Manpreet Gony and Yusuf Pathan also took crucial wickets. Meanwhile, Nazimuddin (49) was the leading run-scorer for Bangladesh Legends.
