Although Pakistan stunned everyone and has already claimed the three-match ODI series, it was Shadab Khan who made the headlines for his warm gesture during the 2nd ODI against West Indies.
In the 39th over of the Pakistan innings, it was West Indies pacer Anderson Phillip who took a run up but halted before throwing the ball to Shadab Khan who was ready to play in the middle.
Shadab Khan was left puzzled as Phillip stopped seeing a member from the crowd run towards the pitch near Shadab. Although the Pakistan vice-captain didn’t panic seeing the intruder and accepted the gesture by the fan. In return, Khan gave a hug to the fan at the crease who gave a salute to him upon entering the pitch, winning millions of hearts of the fans.
