The second women's T20I between India and England got off to a fiery start at County Ground on Sunday. After winning the toss and opting to bowl first, India had a steady start with the score reading 26/0 in 3 overs. However, things escalated quite quickly as Katherine Brunt came in to bowl the 4th over of the innings. After Smriti Mandhana took a single off the first delivery, Shafali Verma got the strike and wreaked havoc in Hove.

4, 4, 4, 4, 4 - 20 runs in 5 balls

With India struggling with their run-rate on this tour so far, it looked like Shafali Verma wanted to correct it for her side. Facing one of the best bowlers in women's cricket in the form of Katherine Brunt, the 17-year-old showed no mercy as she slammed the second ball of the over down to mid-wicket region.

As Verma slammed the next delivery over the head of the bowler, she completed the hat-trick of boundaries with a mesmerizing shot towards point. With Brunt under a lot of pressure, Shafali was in mood of not stopping as she hit boundaries of the last two deliveries of the over as well, towards mid-wicket and wide long-on region respectively.
