The race to the playoff is heating up with seven teams fighting for the left three spots. In the quest to better their chances, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are taking on each other in Match 61 of IPL 2022. KKR captain Shreyas Iyer opted to bat first after winning the toss. His decision was proved right by KKR top-order batters as they scored more than 50 runs for the loss of just one wicket.
Nitish Rana and Ajinkya Rahane were looking good after KKR lost Venkatesh Iyer early. But Umran Malik had different plans for the duo. The SRH speedster dismissed both the batters in his first over itself to give SRH an opening in the game. Malik got Rana and Rahane with quick deliveries.
While he deceived Rana with a short of a length delivery, he got Rahane with a quicker bouncer. Although Malik bowled exceptionally to get rid of both the batters, he had Shashank Singh to thank for Rahane’s wicket. The SRH fielder put in a brilliant effort near the boundary ropes to provide his team with a breakthrough.
With the ball bowled at a decent pace by Malik, Rahane just timed his shot. The ball went flying towards the extra cover boundary and it looked like a certain six. But Shashank pulled the ball with his brilliant effort to shock the batsman and spectators.

After this valiant effort from Shashank Singh in the deep, everyone looked in awe of the SRH fielder. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar also appreciated Shashank for pulling off a sensational catch.
