The sixth match of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) played between RCB and KKR became more interesting after Sheldon Jackson grabbed a one-handed stunner to send back Sherfane Rutherford. The KKR wicketkeeper brought his team back into the contest with his brilliant effort behind the wickets. Rutherford was standing in the middle for a long time and was looking set to take RCB home.

However, a smart move from Shreyas Iyer to bowl out Tim Southee turned the game. In the 18th over of RCB's innings, Southee bowled a good length delivery that nipped back a little to kiss Rutherford's inside edge. The ball, however, was dying on the wicketkeeper who reached it with one hand. Jackson made a full-length dive to his right to grab the ball millimeters off the ground.

KKR lose!

Despite this sensational grab from Jackson, KKR lost the game as they were outdone by some tactical masterclass from the RCB management. RCB's decision to hold back Dinesh Karthik worked for them in a tense chase. Karthik was the man to finish the job for RCB with a six and a four in the last over of Andre Russell.

Before Karthik, Harshal Patel also showed some great presence of mind to play a ramp shot to Venkatesh Iyer and another boundary on the last ball of the penultimate over, reducing the equation to 7 off 6. Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer missed a trick to not keep one over of his one of the main bowlers. Although he had Russell, KKR could not get the best from him.
