Ahead of a long, packed cricketing season ahead, Indian cricketers have found a bit of time to unwind and relax owing to the suspension of IPL 2021. Senior cricketer Shikhar Dhawan is in no mood to waste the time but is using it to put his hands on things he doesn't get time to do in the middle of a hectic schedule. Dhawan spent a rainy Friday afternoon showcasing his musical talent as he played the flute to a famous song by the late Jagjit Singh.

The left-handed batter posted the video of himself playing the instrument on his social media page. In the clip just over a minute long, Dhawan can be seen sitting on a sofa and playing the flute. "Music for the soul, stay calm, stay positive. Can you guess the song?," he captioned the video.

Fans quick to guess the name of the song

Meanwhile, fans were quick to guess the name of the song. "Hothon se chu lo tum, mera geet amar kr do," an Insta user wrote in the comment box. However, a comment that stood out was from Ghatam Udupa a renowned percussionist and a classical Indian musician. "Kya baat hai Pandit ji. Very nice," he wrote.

While Dhawan has not been named in the squad that is travelling to the United Kingdom for the World Test Championship final and the England series, he is among the frontrunners to lead the limited-overs team for a tour to Sri Lanka in July.
