The much-anticipated IPL festivity has begun in India and the second encounter of the tournament sees CSK take on last-year finalists Delhi Capitals. Rishabh Pant debuting in his captaincy role for DC, won the toss and put CSK to bat first. CSK piled up a good total of 188 in 20 overs.

Shikhar Dhawan pulls off a staggering backward-running catch to dismiss Moeen Ali

Chennai Super Kings started the innings being 7-2 when both their openers Faf Du Plessis and Ruturaj Gaikwad got out early. Moeen Ali and Suresh Raina took the responsibility and build a crucial partnership. Both the batsmen steadied the ship for CSK and were looking for big innings.

After hitting Ravichandran Ashwin for two back-to-back sixes, the all-rounder premeditated a reverse sweep and hit the ball in the air. It seemed like it would drop safe, but Shikhar Dhawan ran backwards and took a great catch to dismiss Ali for 36 runs.
