Rajasthan Royals middle-order batter Shimron Hetmyer has also hit a Mumbai Indians bowler for 26 runs in an over. The West Indian batter came into bat after RR captain Sanju Samson’s dismissal in the 14th over. Hetmyer started off cautiously and then in the 16th over, took over.

His countryman Kieron Pollard was coming into bowl his fourth over after an economic spell. Pollard had given 24 runs and had dismissed Sanju Samson. But, Hetmyer had other plans as he hit the first ball of the over for a six in the short fine leg direction. Then hit another maximum over the mid-wicket boundary. The 25-year-old then decided to change up things as he hit two consecutive boundaries.

After this flurry of boundaries, Pollard’s bad fortune continued as the fifth ball beat Hetmyer and went past Ishan Kishan for four leg-byes. The five-time IPL champion had already bowled a wide delivery to concede 26 runs in his last over.

Watch Hetmyer's carnage here:

Hetmyer ended the game with 35 off 14 at a strike rate of 250 and had three fours and three sixes. The Rajasthan Royals concluded at 193-8. After a decent start, Jos Buttler with Sanju Samson and Shimron Hetmyer went on attack mode. But towards the end, Mumbai pulled back as Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Buttler and Hetmyer.
