It hasn't gone Sri Lanka's way in the ongoing ODI series against Bangladesh. While they have already lost the first two matches of the three-match series, they lost two wickets in quick succession after a good start in the final ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. After the fall of two wickets, captain Kusal Perera and Kusal Mendis started to revive the innings when a little verbal exchange happened between Shoriful Islam and Kusal Mendis. Given that the international players wear their heart on their sleeves, it's understandable when they sometimes fail to keep their emotions in check and a similar incident happened in the ongoing third ODI.

In the final ball of the 17th over, Bangladesh pacer Shoriful Islam bowled a length delivery outside the off-stump but Mendis, trying to hit it will all his might, got completely beaten on that occasion. Although the bowler had made his point by beating the batsman, he decided to have a few words with the batter which didn't go down well with Mendis and the duo exchanged a few words in the middle.

Mushfiqur Rahim the star for Bangladesh in the series

Meanwhile, it's been a series to remember for Mushfiqur Rahim. In both the matches so far, Rahim has played the match-defining knocks. While Sri Lanka did manage to get breakthroughs in both their matches, they simply couldn't get past Rahim, who scored an 84 from 87 balls in the first ODI and bettered his own performance by scoring 125 in the second. Rahim was adjudged the Player of the Match on both occasions.
