Rajasthan Royals leg-spinner Shreyas Gopal is one of the most fun characters off the field. While the 27-year-old looks like a very silent and calm cricketer while playing, the franchise often shares some hilarious behind-the-scene footages which shows other side of his personality. While this time, Royals have shown a glimpse of Gopal's hidden talent to the whole world.

Gopal imitates Bumrah, Ashwin and Harbhajan

In a recent video released by RR, the leg-spinner can be seen imitating the bowling actions of few of the greatest bowlers the country has ever produced. To start off, Gopal replicates the unorthodox bowling style of Jasprit Bumrah. The speedster has a very unique slinging action which is not easy to copy but Gopal certianly nails it to perfection.

The leg-spinner also surprised everyone as he imitated the actions of two off-spinners, Ravichandran Ashwin and Harbhajan Singh with ease. Towards the end of the video, he also says, “I have shown it to Bumrah himself, and he said that I imitate him better than he does it himself.”

Will Gopal play against RCB?

The video has been shared ahead of RR's crucial game against an unbeaten RCB side. Shreyas Gopal, who had a disappointing outing in the first match, was dropped for the next two. Notably, the leg-spinner has a very good record against Virat Kohli's side as he also registered an emphatic hattrick against them in 2019.

It will be interesting to see if RR considers that aspect and give their lead spinner another go against his favourite opponents. One thing is for sure that if Gopal gets an opportunity, he has a lot of variations in his armoury (something we saw in the video) to use against the likes of Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers.
