Indian opener Shubman Gill is displaying some fine form in the ODI series against West Indies. While the right-handed batter scored 64 in the opening ODI of the three-match series, he chipped in with 43 runs in the second fixture. However, the youngster himself said that he is disappointed after failing to convert the starts into big scores.

However, in the final ODI of the three-match series, it looks like Gill is set to create a bigger impact with the bat. Not only has he taken the time to get his eye in, he even scored a massive 104-metre six off the bowling of Hayden Walsh in the 15th over of the innings.

In the second ball of the over, Gill stepped down the wicket and smashed the ball over the long on fence for a huge six.

So sweet was the connection from Gill's bat that the ball was nowhere to be found and eventually the fourth umpire had to walk out with a box of used balls to look for an appropriate replacement. The Indian openers are unseparated at 87/0 after 17 overs before the first drinks break was taken. While Gill is batting on 36, Shikhar Dhawan is unbeaten on 48.
