UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov is a known football lover. While whenever he finds time, he follows the sport and this time around he even took out time to attend a Premier League match between Manchester United and Everton at the Old Trafford, Manchester. Nurmagomedov, who identifies himself as a United fan on social media, also met Red Devils star Paul Pogba and superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Sharing a short clip from his interaction with the footballers, he even had a section that resembled the pre-game game face-off which is a ritual before the UFC fights. However, it was in good humour as Ronaldo and Nurmagomedov- the legends of their respective sport- shared a smile as they posed for the camera in another picture.

But in the friendly face-off, both the players tried to keep an intense look as they came face to face against each other. In a charming moment, the face-off eventually resulted in a hug. While there was a bout of wrestling too, it was all with a wide smirk on their faces.

Sharing selected videos and pictures from their meeting, Nurmagomedov wrote: "He is a best ever, keep doing your things Champ, you inspire millions of people around the World @cristiano."

Not long ago, Nurmagomedov had shared a picture with the legendary United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The caption of that post with the former Man United boss read, "it was a great honor to speak with a Legend."

Talking about the match, Ronaldo was not named in the starting XI for the match against Everton. In the end, the match ended in a draw with Anthony Martial's 43rd-minute strike cancelled by Andros Townsend's 65th-minute goal.

Townsend even dished out Ronaldo's iconic Sii celebration and said that although he had planned to do it before his trip to Old Trafford, he got a bit carried away as he celebrated in the 65th minute itself and the Portugal star could have replied to him with a later winner.

However, that wasn't to be. United remain fourth in the Premier League points tally with four wins, two draws and one defeat from 7 matches.
