SunRisers Hyderabad might have had a very disappointing IPL 2021 campaign this year but they have unravelled a special talent in front of everyone. In the recently-concluded match against Kolkata Knight Riders, the Orange Army surprisingly handed a debut to a young 21-year-old pacer hailing from Jammu and Kashmir in form of Umran Malik. Little did many know that the right-arm fast bowler would stun the whole world with his outstanding skills with the cricket ball.

Unlike the other Indian bowlers, Malik bowled at a very rapid pace which is very rare in the country. In his impressive spell of bowling (4-0-27-0), he produced two deliveries at speeds of over 150 km/h, with the fastest one being 151.03 km/h. With this, he became the fastest Indian bowler in the ongoing season of IPL 2021 and the third-fastest pacer overall, after Lockie Ferguson and Anrich Nortje.

Although he was extremely fast, bold and fierce on the field, the franchise has now shared footage which shows the emotional side of the young cricketer.

Malik couldn't control his tears after listening to his family members

In a heartwarming gesture by the SunRisers Hyderabad, they recorded video messages of the family members of Umran Malik where they can be seen wishing the youngster luck for playing in IPL. The footage was televised on the big screen (mostly in their hotel) with all the SRH players in attendance.

As the camera turned towards the speedster, he could be seen with his head down in tears, because of the sheer love and support being given to him by his family members throughout his difficult journey. Umran has made the dream come true for the entire state and it could not have been possible without his sheer hard work and immense support from his parents, which could have been one of the reasons behind him breaking down while listening to their messages.

Although SRH's season is done and dusted, Umran Malik still have two more games (against RCB and MI) to give another demonstration of his talent, ahead of the mega auctions. Fans would be hoping that the youngster can pick up his first IPL scalp in the remaining two games.
