The Golden State Warriors proved their championship calibre as they defeated Dallas Mavericks after being down by 19 points. Now, the Dubs have taken a 2-0 lead in the series as Steph Curry had another 30-point game as the protagonist in the win. The two-time MVP scored 32 points with eight rebounds and five assists.
After scoring the dagger three-pointer, Curry announced "Night night," and did his patent go-to-sleep gesture as the GSW victory was assured. The 34-year-old drilled six three-pointers out of 10 while shooting 11-21 from the field. Along with Curry, Kevon Looney had an impactful game as he scored 21 points and pulled down 12 rebounds.

Addressing his performance, Looney said, “I feel honoured just to be a part of the ride. Tonight was my night to make a big difference and I just stepped up.” While talking about the win Steph Curry said, “We have that attitude and spirit that we're never out of it.”
GSW coach Steve Kerr was asked about his instructions after being down by 19 points and said, “I told them that if we developed some poise in the second half, that the game would come to us. But I thought we were so scattered in the first half. Maybe emotionally more so than anything. Dallas came out and just punched us.”
Dallas coach Jason Kidd also talked about how his team is ready to come back strong as they were in a similar situation against Phoenix Suns. He said, “We're on the road against one of the best teams in the league. It happens. They held serve. We've seen this in Phoenix so now we have to go back and just focus on Game 3.”
