The 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) had to be suspended midway but there were some amazing memories made by the players during the time they spent together in bio-bubbles. Kolkata Knight Riders pacer Pat Cummins has been sharing some of those with then fans through some interesting vlogs on his YouTube channel. While the fans got an insight into what players used to do in quarantine, they also got a chance to witness the hidden talent of star all-rounder Sunil Narine.

Sunil Narine - Team barber of KKR

The video shared by the pacer was from the first leg of IPL 2021, where Kolkata Knight Riders were in Chennai. Since the team was in a strict bio-bubble, Cummins could not get a barber from outside when he needed a haircut. To his rescue was his teammate Sunil Narine as the Aussie described him as 'team barber'. Notably, a video of Narine cutting the hair of Sakib Al Hasan had also gone viral a few months back.

Pat Cummins delighted with his new hair-cut

As the Aussie speedster started getting his haircut done by Sunil Narine, he was instantly impressed with how things were going. "So much better than last year," Cummins said in relief. Notably, the 28-year-old got a terrible haircut from KKR's assistant coach Abhishek Nayar during IPL 2020. Team's owner Shah Rukh Khan had also given his opinion on that cut as he had said, "I saw you on the field and I said 'what happened to Pats?" The Aussie had also jokingly expressed how disappointed he was with that cut and it had reached the stage when he was thinking about shaving it all.

Hence, he was absolutely delighted with how Sunil went about the business. "Short on the side, a bit of length on top. No hair colour like Dre," Cummins had demanded. His wish was willfully granted after Narine cut the hair just like how the Aussie wanted them to be. The speedster also claimed that it was actually not that difficult how he was made to look last year. Post the cut, Cummins looked at his hairstyle in the mirror and said, "Very happy, that feels like a professional haircut."
