Apart from recommencing the cricketing festivity every year, the Indian Premier League also gives a chance to the fanatics to witness their veteran heroes in action. It is the beauty of the mega event that legendary players share dressing room with other masters of the game apart from rising talents and ruling stalwarts.

One among the legends is Harbhajan Singh, who is 40 years old and might be playing the last season of his cricket career. Acknowledging the same his former Indian and CSK teammate Suresh Raina payed the former his sign of respect by touching his feet before the start of CSK's ongoing game against KKR.

Harbhajan and Raina not only won the 2011 World Cup with the Indian team but were also teammates in Chennai Super Kings’ 2018 IPL edition. As Harbhajan Singh was having a conversation with his former CSK teammates Imrah Tahir, Ravindra Jadeja and others, Raina completed his sessions in the nets to go to Bhajji and eventually bow down to touch his feet.

Harbhajan Singh for CSK 

The veteran Indian player was acquired by CSK in 2018 IPL auction for his base price of INR 2 crore. Harbhajan delivered CSK’s trust in him by not only picking up wickets and delivering economical spells but by also guiding the youngsters in the team. During his 2 years that he played for CSK, Harbhajan appeared in 24 games and picked up 23 wickets, with an economy of around 6 runs per over.

However, in the 2020 edition, Harbhajan Singh was not a part of the CSK squad due to personal reasons. The next season saw KKR picking him for INR 2 crore.
