Ahead of IPL 2022, Gujarat Titans unveiled their new jersey at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday. The captain of franchise Hardik Pandya did the honours, alongside head coach Ashish Nehra and director of cricket operations Vikram Solanki. After the jersey launch, the media got to ask a few questions to Hardik and the all-rounder answered all of them, but in his own style.

After being asked if he would be more excited to play against CSK and MS Dhoni, Hardik admitted that although MS Dhoni will be there on other side, he would be equally happy to lock horns with every other team in IPL, no matter if they play against them once or twice. As presenter Vikram Sathaye pointed out that Hardik has his own helicopter shot, the GT captain added that the inventor of the shot will always remain MSD.
Hardik was then asked about his vision for the side, that he wishes to create at Gujarat Titans. On the same, he said, "The vision is to create a culture where everyone feels at home." Hardik asserted on the fact that the players can perform well only if they feel a sense of security.
However, the best moment of the day was yet to come. After having some fun with one of the journalists, the Gujarat Titans' captain was about his fitness and whether he would bowl in IPL 2022 or not. In reply, Hardik Pandya gave a very cheeky and mysterious response as he said, "Sir, surprise hai vo. Surprise ko surprise rehne do," as both the player and journalist started laughing.
