India registered a thrilling 3-wicket win over Sri Lanka in the second ODI of the three-match series on Tuesday. The victory tasted even sweeter for the Indian players and fans alike since at one stage it looked like the match had slipped away from their grip. However, an unbeaten 84-run stand for the eighth wicket between Deepak Chahar and Bhuvneshwar Kumar saw India home and understandably the celebrations continued late into the night.

And now India batter Suryakumar Yadav has shared a video on his social media in which he along with Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya and other could be seen enjoying a fun jam-session after the historic win. The cricketers can be seen singing out as the video was captioned, "Extended celebration."

The win has helped the visitors clinch the three-match series 2-0 with a game to go. Chasing 276 to win, the Men in Blue were reduced to 160/6 with no recognised batter remaining. However, Chahar and Bhuvi never let the game slip away any further and complemented each other pretty well. While Chahar was the aggressor in the 84-run stand eventually finishing with 69 from 82 balls with the help of seven boundaries and a six, Bhuvi also played his role to perfection not only making 19 from 28 balls with the help of two boundaries but also staying over an hour at the wicket to ensure the men to follow do not get a chance to come in.

Have been dreaming of this kind of innings for India, says Chahar

After receiving the Player of the Match award, Chahar said that he has always dreamt of playing such an innings donning the national blues.

"Only one thing that was going on in my mind: this is the kind of innings I've been dreaming of. No better way to win the match for the country. Rahul sir told me to play all the deliveries. I've played a few innings with India A and I think he has belief in me. He told me he thinks I'm good enough to be a No. 7," he said at the post-match presentation.
