As international cricket returned to Jaipur after 8 years, the fans got to witness some brilliant batting display on a flat deck at Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Wednesday. With New Zealand being asked to bat first, Martin Guptill (70 off 42) and Mark Chapman (63 off 50) proved that lot of runs can be scored on this wicket after getting set.

Learning from the same, the Indian batters replicated the approach during the run-chase. After a cautious start, Rohit Sharma went berserk and played some brilliant shots to set up the platform for the batsmen to follow. It was Suryakumar Yadav who came in to bat at No. 3 for Men in Blue and he stole the show with some mesmerizing batting, something he has often produced while playing for Mumbai Indians in IPL.

Gorgeous half-century by SKY in Jaipur

The stylish right-handed batsman played some gorgeous shots all over the park and left the Kiwi bowlers absolutely clueless. In an innings which included some splendid hits, the best of the lot came in when he was just few runs away from his half-century.

As Lockie Ferguson ran in to bowl a pacy delivery, SKY got himself in a brilliant position to play his trademark whip-scoop over fine leg. The ball went so high in the air before landing into the stands, making it an absolutely delightful shot to watch for the viewers.

It was notably SKY's 3rd half-century in only his 7th innings and was probably one of the best. He smashed 3 sixes and 6 fours in an innings where he scored 62 runs in only 40 deliveries.
