The Indian cricket team has started training at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton. With days inching closer to the highly-awaited World Test Championship final between India and New Zealand, fans are getting excited to see the Indian players in action. Keeping fans' curiosity and eagerness in mind, BCCI took to Twitter to share a clip from Team India's first group training session.
Currently, the players are allowed to practice in groups of three and four before their soft quarantine period gets over. The entire team will be allowed to practice together from Friday onwards. In the video shared by BCCI, skipper Virat Kohli, wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant, opener Rohit Sharma, spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, and speedster Jasprit Bumrah were seen training in the nets along with other Indian players.

Indian team management working on plan to fit Siraj in playing XI
According to a report in Times of India, Hyderabad pacer Mohammed Siraj is doing well in the training session. As a result, the Indian team management is looking for a way to play him in place of Ishant Sharma in the WTC final, but it’s going to be a tough call. This is the first time since India’s tour of West Indies in August, 2019 that Ishant Sharma, Mohammed Shami and Jasprit Bumrah are all available for selection together.
