The first day of the finals of World Test Championship 2021 on Friday was called off due to persistent rain in Southampton. It was a disappointing day for all the fans across the globe who were eagerly waiting for the contest but the players didn't have the luxury to spoil their mood. They needed to be focused and prepared for the next day and needed to keep their heads held high on a rainy day. While the Kiwi players were spotted having a chat over a coffee at the venue, BCCI have now shared a video to reveal what some of the Indian members were up to throughout the day.

His technique is very similar to a hunter: Ashwin

Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin, who has been named in India's potential playing XI for the finale, was notably seen playing a game of dart with video analyst Hari Prasad Mohan and physios - Nitin Patel and Yogesh Parmar. It looked like quite a fun session as Ashwin compared Hari's technique of throwing a dart to that of a hunter. The scores were also revealed by Ashwin half-way through the match with the 34-year-old not having a very good outing in Southampton. The scores were as follows:

Hari Prasad Mohan - 85

Nitin Patel - 71

Yogesh Parmar - 64

Ravichandran Ashwin - 57

Ashwin bounces back in style

Just like his reputation on the field to bounce back, Ravichandran Ashwin pulled off some great throw towards the end and looked absolutely delighted with her performance. The 34-year-old was very focused and serious to do well even in a fun game which just reflects the elite mentality of the cricketer. In short, it was good to see Ashwin in a good space of mind ahead of what could be quite tricky next few days on the field at Rose Bowl. India's prime all-rounder would surely be raring to produce his magic and guide India to a historic win in the WTC Final.
