The Board of Control for Cricket in India took to Twitter to share a video with snippets of Team India's training session.

"Gearing up for ODI No. 1 against the West Indies," BCCI captioned the video. While, players in the squad were seen participating in net session, Indian opener Shubman Gill explained the reason of it and also conveyed the environment inside the dressing room.

"It is better that we got to some knocking indoors instead of doing nothing. Everyone is really excited for the first ODI and we wanted to kick start the bilateral series on a positive note," Gill quoted. The batter further stated that he needs to work on some specific deliveries and is feeling positive ahead of the series.

"Really buzzed about these three ODIs. Hopefully, we will win the first one and have a good series after that," concluded Gill.
