As Golden State Warriors defeated the Denver Nuggets for the second consecutive match in their first-round series. The Dubs were led by an incredible 34 points by Stephen Curry as they caused a lot of problems to the Nuggets’ rosters. The tensions were through the roof as Denver centre Demarcus Cousins and guard Will Barton were seen having a heated argument.

The verbal altercation took place during a timeout in the third quarter where Barton was going into DeMarcus Cousins’ face as the team was walking to the bench. The duo was soon separated by the other Nuggets players.

During the post-match press conference, Will Barton addressed the issue and expressed that he needs to have better behaviour. He said, “Just some goofy sh*t that happened on the bench that I shouldn’t even entertain. We can’t let that happen in a series in the playoffs the game. I got to be better than that.”
