Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are locking horns in the 22nd match of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). As the two heavyweights of the tournament take on each other, cricket fans in India have their eyes glued to the TV screens. And with so many people watching it is hard for anyone on the ground to get away with a mistake.

The same happened with the Third Umpire for the match, Yeshwant Barde when he asked for a catch video while reviewing an LBW referral. The incident took place in the 4th over of the game when Josh Hazlewood trapped CSK batter Ruturaj Gaikwad LBW. The on-field umpire gave the decision in the favour of the bowler. However, Gaikwad decided to challenge it by opting for DRS.

While reviewing the dismissal, the third umpire asked for ultra-edge thinking it was for a caught behind decision. But when he was reminded that it was for an LBW decision, he immediately apologized.

Ruturaj continues to struggle!

It was a failure for CSK opener Ruturaj Gaikwad once again as the batter failed to score big. Although he scored his highest score this season, it was not enough for him. Being the top scorer for CSK last year, Gaikwad was expected to take the aggressor's role once again this year. But the youngster has not been able to live up to the expectations of his fans and management. Gaikwad has registered the scores of 0, 1, 1, 16, 17 in the five games he has played this season. He has failed to stay longer on the crease and has given away his wicket in the first six overs. Out of five games, Gaikwad has lost his wicket to a pacer four times. One time he has been dismissed by run out.
