After highly-anticipated IPL auctions, attention has been shifted to the three-match T20I series against West Indies. Rohit Sharma-led side has already swept the ODI series and now will be hoping to continue their winning momentum in the shortest format of the game. The T20I series is all set to start from Wednesday (February 16), with both teams looking to begin on a positive note.

While team India will be confident after sweeping the ODI series, West Indies' recent performance in T20Is will provide a much-needed boost to the visitors. They won their last T20I series against England by the margin of 3-2 and would look to regain their winning momentum.

On the eve of the game, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma addressed the media and clearly stated that the whole focus is on the T20I series. While interacting with media in a virtual conference, Rohit encountered a light moment, which eventually surprised everyone. As attendees joined via zoom call, it appeared as someone had missed turning their microphone off. However, amongst the most notable factor from Rohit's press conference was his backing for former skipper Virat Kohli. While addressing a query over Kohli's form, Sharma suggested that the discussion over his form should shut immediately as his predecessor has immense experience and knows how to handle pressure.
