Chinese UFC fighter Li Jingliang has rewarded the first knockout loss to the Russian fighter Muslim Salikhov at the UFC Long Island event last night at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. After the fight, Leech covered himself in his national flag which-led an UFC employee to rip the flag away from him.

Li Jingliang, who is at 14th rank in the official UFC welterweight rankings, has defeated the UFC veteran Salikhov after his disappointing loss to Khamzat Chimaev. However, it was the post-fight incident that has drawn the attention of MMA community as the Chinese fighter was seen wearing his country's flag in the octagon.

A UFC employee was quick enough to remove the flag from the 34-year-old's shoulder as UFC has banned national flags in walkouts or post-fight octagon segment in May this year due to the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. The Chinese MMA fighter has landed the first-ever knockout defeat to the Russian Salikhov.

After the fight, the Reech was seen tossing around his coaching staff as a part of the celebrations. The Chinese fighter is likely to be matched with a big opponent now in the welterweight bout.
