The match no. 55 of IPL 2021 between Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad saw some fireworks in Abu Dhabi, leaving everyone absolutely stunned. With an almost impossible task ahead of them, MI came out all guns blazing in hope of posting a huge total. It was Ishan Kishan who started the show as he went on to play a destructive knock of 84 runs off 32 deliveries to lay a solid platform for his side.

After losing a few wickets in the middle, it was Suryakumar Yadav who returned to form when it mattered the most. The 31-year-old played some mesmerizing shots during his knock and did not let the momentum shift towards the opposition. In the penultimate over of the innings, he produced a hat-trick of boundaries against Umran Malik before the youngster bounced back with fierce short delivery.

Scary moment for SKY in Abu Dhabi

The SRH pacer has made a name for himself in the tournament with his raw pace in the last couple of games. Having been hit for three consecutive fours, it was normal for him to switch to a short-pitch delivery, something that pacers usually do. However, SKY was not in a great position to tackle the ball as the 141.6 km/h delivery took an edge off his bat before hitting his helmet.

It was a very scary moment for everyone as physios came in running on the field to perform the concussion test. The MI batsman looked slightly taken aback with the incident and looked in some discomfort. Fortunately for him and the franchise, he was given clearance to carry on to bat.

The right-handed batsman just did not look in the same touch after the blow on his helmet. He could not score a single run after that as he played three consecutive dot deliveries before hitting a Jason Holder delivery straight into the hands of Mohammad Nabi. However, his 40-ball 80-run knock guided Mumbai Indians to a huge total of 235/9 in 20 overs.
