KKR opener Venkatesh Iyer is a man of many skills. He can score some crucial runs with an impressive strike rate, provide much-needed breakthroughs while delivering great bowling spells and his fielding on the ground makes him a three-dimensional player. Although his contribution with the bat in the season’s opener against CSK does not speak volumes of his talent, his 43-run opening partnership with Ajinkya Rahane was one of the major factors due to which KKR finished the contest as the better team.

In a video shared via the official Twitter handle of Kolkata Knight Riders, Iyer was seen flaunting yet another skill but had a twist attached to it. The 27-year-old all-rounder was seen showing off his photography skills as he clicked Abhishek Nayar during practice session. While Iyer boosted himself by saying, “Me and my photography skills,” Nayar was not so much impressed with the outcome. After seeing the picture, Nayar said, “I have never seen such a bad picture of myself.” In response, Iyer defended himself by informing his senior that there was some issue with the device.

While Venkatesh could not impress Abhishek Nayar with his photography skills, the former has been hitting all right boxes when it comes to performing on the field. He was a major takeaway for Team India during the T20 series against West Indies as he amassed 92-runs in three T20Is and picked two wickets.

Iyer, who recently revealed that he is a big fan of WWE star Seth Rollin, received blessings from his idol just before the start of IPL 2022. In a video message, Rollin said, “Venkatesh, my man. You got Indian Premier League ahead of you. So, you need my blessings to go and grab the cup. Prepare yourself to be blessed by the visionary and go on and burn it down.”
