It's a long for the Pakistani fans that ended on October 24, 2021. From 1992, each year they have had to face disappointment whenever the Men in Green have had a clash against arch-rivals India. However when the two teams met for the 13th time in a World Cup match on Sunday, it was finally the first win for the Babar Azam-led side over Team India in World Cups.

While there are several passionate fans of the Pakistan cricket team, among the most recognisable face is that of the viral meme guy Momin Saqib whose rant after Pakistan had lost the 2019 World Cup match to India had made him a social media celebrity. Nearly two and a half years later since that defeat, Momin was at the Dubai International Stadium to see the match and finally when Pakistan won he gave a new twist to his "waqt badal diye, jazbaat badal diye" comment.

While the earlier remark was made while suggesting that it was a heartbreak for the Pakistani fans, this time around the connotation was positive as he said that a 10-wicket win was required to end the drought of so many years.

The International Cricket Council have also shared a video of Momin on social media where he also says that he will be cheering on for the side when they take on New Zealand in their second match on October 26.

"Look who we spotted ?? fans ? #INDvPAK | #T20WorldCup," they captioned the video.

Momin was understandably in a celebratory mood after his country's unprecedented effort. He was constantly active on social media and gave regular updates to his followers on the social media website. He was even spotted with Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar in a video.

"Mujhe Kuch samaj nai arahi!! Main khushi se pagal ho jao ga (I can’t understand anything! I will go mad because of this happiness) (sic),” he captioned another one of his videos after Pakistan had completed the win over India.

India have a short break before their next match and take on the Blackcaps on October 30.
