In a recent net session, the former RCB skipper and India cricketer, Virat Kohli got bowled in the nets sessions ahead of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) clash against Mumbai Indians (MI) on April 9 at Maharashtra Cricket Stadium (MCA), Pune.

After getting bowled, Virat was miffed and was seen aiming at the stumps in desperation, and also threw one of the bats in anger. It is quite evident that the MI team possesses a quality spinner in Murugan Ashwin, who has been impressive with his performances and has four scalps in three fixtures of IPL 2022. Over the years, his wrong-uns have troubled the batters and Kohli must have him at the back of his mind during the practice sessions.

In three innings of IPL 2022, Virat has managed to accumulate only 58 runs. While the RCB team has two wins in three league matches, and is positioned fifth in the points table. In the last game, the knocks of Dinesh Karthik and Shahbaz Ahmed helped the team to chase down the target of 169 runs in an emphatic manner.

On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have sustained three consecutive losses and are languishing at the bottom of the table. In their last outing, the team could not defend their total of 161 and were stunned by the innings of Pat Cummins.
