If ever there is an embodiment of the dialogue “Fire hun main” from Pushpa, it would be Royal Challengers Bangalore’s Virat Kohli. The right-handed batter may no longer the skipper of the side but such is his personality and aura that he remains their biggest poster boy.

One more thing which is guaranteed with Kohli is that he will call spade a spade and will remember even the minutest defeats and losses on the cricket field and make sure he answers them on the cricket field itself. The same happened during the ongoing IPL 2022 match between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Kohli hit a monstrous six off Harpreet Brar, the left-arm orthodox spinner who had dismissed him in IPL 2021. The shot was enough to send a statement that it was Kohli who was the boss as the ball sailed over the fence.

Kohli later hit another six off the same bowler before finishing his innings on 41* off 29. However, his innings along with Faf du Plessis (88) and Dinesh Karthik (32) that took RCB to 205 went in vain as Bangalore tasted a 5-wicket defeat against Punjab Kings whose batters kept them in the game before finishers Odean Smith (25* off 8) and Shahrukh Khan (24* from 20) sealed the match in favour of the Mayank Agarwal-led side.
