It is indeed October 24, 2021. What a day to be alive and be in the best of health in anticipation of India's T20 World Cup clash against Pakistan. The Men in Blue has traditionally enjoyed a superior record over their arch-rivals in World Cups. Be it the 50 Overs cricket or T20, Team India enjoys an overall 12-0 record over their arch-rivals in World Cup events.

This year too the Virat Kohli-led side will start as an overwhelming favourite to beat Pakistan. This is based on a reading and analysis of the complete squad of both teams. However, given that it is the shortest format of the game where any side can beat any other on a given day, the team would want to head into this with their best preparation.

India captain Kohli and team mentor MS Dhoni were seen ensuring just the same as they made last-minute preparations ahead of the match. The video of their practice was shared by the official broadcasters Star Sports ahead of the pressure game. While was seen in his usual calm and composed behaviour, helping the other team members with their warm-ups and practices, Kohli was in the middle of a high-intensity session, also practicing at the nets.

"It's almost ???? for India Crossed swords Pakistan and @imVkohli & @msdhoni are making their last-minute preps," a part of the video caption said.

"In my opinion, no matter how well Pakistan play, if Indian players don't make mistakes, then it will be difficult for Pakistan to win the match", Former Pakistan captain Rashid Laitf said while speaking via Khaleej Times.

"It's important to make the other team commit mistakes. So, it's not just about the technique or skills, it's about tactics. You have to get your tactics right and try to make the other team commit errors," he added.

Former Pakistan speedster Shoaib Akhtar had also echoed similar sentiments but said that Pakistan has the best chance in T20 cricket out of all formats. He even gave three hilarious tips to the Men in Green to try and stop India from winning this game.

"Give sleeping pills to India first. Second, stop Virat Kohli from using Instagram for two days (chuckles). And third, ask MS Dhoni to not come to bat himself, I am telling you he's still the most in-form batter," Akhtar told Sportskeeda.
