Mumbai Indians batter Suryakumar Yadav has made one of the most notable late entries in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League. On Saturday, his most recent 68 against Royal Challengers Bangalore amazed everyone as Yadav rescued his side from mini-collapse and helped the side post a competitive total of 151-6 on board. Yadav's innings was studded with six 6s and five 4s as he smashed the ball all-around the park.

The 31-year-old single-handedly mustered the innings to a respectable total with his solid batting display on Sunday. The team looked in deep trouble at one stage. However, with the arrival of Suryakumar, Mumbai's course of innings changed completely.

While Yadav's blistering fifties have gone in vain since his return as MI could not win the games. However, the Indian batter has earned massive appreciation from everyone for his well-executed knocks. Yadav's unbeaten innings till the end earned him praise from RCB's Virat Kohli as the former skipper rushed to pat Yadav on the back for his superb display of class act.

Speaking of the match, batting first, Mumbai Indians started well as Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma played some cracking shots at the top-order and added 50 runs for the first wicket. But, as Rohit got dismissed, Mumbai faced yet another mini-collapse till Suryakumar Yadav's 68-run knocks rescued MI. Ishan Kishan (26 off 28), Rohit Sharma (26 off 15), and Surya Kumar Yadav (68 off 37) were some notable contributions to MI's innings, but, Anuj Rawat (66 off 47) and Virat Kohli (48 off 36) ensured that RCB didn't face any trouble and chased down the target in 18.3 overs.
