Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is a big football lover as the fans have seen him playing the sport during warm-ups. There was a celebrity football match that took place few years back where Kohli displayed his skills to the whole world. While there is hardly anything that the 32-year-old can't do on the field of cricket, he has now also nailed one of the very famous football challenges in the world.

Accidental Crossbar Challenge!

Virat Kohli posted a video on his social media account on Tuesday, where he can be seen playing football in his No. 18 jersey. After receiving the ball from the goalkeeper, the Indian skippers places the ball and sets himself up to take a shot from quite a few yards away off the goal. People behind the camera can be seen motivating Kohli to score the goal with statements like, "Come on Virat. One straight in."

The 32-year-old also looks absolutely determined to score as he takes a short run-up to kick the ball. Kohli finds a perfect connection with the football as he hits with the sweet part of his laces which is one of the best ways to shoot. Just like he finds the middle of the bat while batting, he replicated the same while shooting. With the football taking a dip at the last moment, it looked like Kohli had scored a brilliant goal.

However, the ball did not bend enough as he would have liked and smashed the crossbar. While everyone behind the camera also reacted instantly as Kohli missed the goal by a whisker, the Delhi boy also looked quite disappointed as he covered his face with both his hands. While it would have hurt, Kohli might have realized later that he actually pulled off the famous 'crossbar challenge' by hitting the bar from quite a long way out. He was quite honest in accepting the fact that he did not intend to do that as he captioned the post as "Accidental crossbar challenge" with a laughing emoji.
