Relief for Kohli!

Although Virat Kohli did not look his usual best, this half-century will ease off some pressure on Virat Kohli. The veteran batter had been struggling to get going this season. For the first time in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Kohli registered consecutive ducks. He also did not look too comfortable during his short stay the crease in RCB's game against RR.

In today's game, Kohli looked calm and composed and did not look to hurry himself up against any bowler. He got off to a good start as he hit two boundaries against Mohammed Shami in the first over itself. Kohli also used his strength, his ability to sneak quick singles, for the best and ran hard between the wickets. The good thing for Kohli was that Rajat Patidar was taking care of the boundaries from the other end. The young batter also scored a half-century but at a much quicker rate (in 29 balls) and allowed Kohli to take his time.
