India batting stalwart Virat Kohli is going through a tough phase in his cricketing career. The former India captain is struggling to score runs. Leave aside the talk of scoring centuries, scoring one run has become a challenge for the batting giant. His dreadful run with the bat continued as he registered another golden duck in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Virat Kohli failed to open his account against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the second time in IPL 2022 as he was dismissed by J Suchith on the very first ball of the RCB innings on Sunday. The left-arm spinner bowled a regulation delivery that pitched on the leg stump and straightened a tad. Kohli tried to flick it towards midwicket, perhaps for a single but ended up playing it straight into the hands of the short midwicket fielder.

SRH captain Kane Williamson took the catch and Kohli just could not believe it. He stood with that blank face and started his long walk back to the pavilion. Kohli could not believe his luck and looked devastated by what just transpired. All the cameras were on him as he was walking back to the RCB change room. By one of those cameras, Kohli's struggle to climb the stairs of the pavilion was captured.

In a video going viral on social media, Kohli is seen struggling to climb the stairs with his head down and bat in his hand. It seemed his legs were not moving.

Even after he reached the dressing room, he was continuously seen shaking his head and facepalming. He was also seen smiling in disbelief. Seeing the champion batter devastated, RCB coach Sanjay Bangar took the onus on himself to cheer him up. Bangar was seen consoling Kohli while the batter spoke animatedly in the change room. The RCB coach also hugged Kohli to calm him down.
