Virat Kohli has returned from his break and has started practicing for his next assignment which is the much-awaited Asia Cup. The star batter has been included in the squad for the continental tournament and considering how the past two years have panned out for Virat Kohli, it looks like a test for him to pass.

Knowing the importance of the tournament, Kohli is leaving no stones unturned in his preparations before the tournament kicks off on 27 August. While he shared a video of his net session a few days ago, Virat Kohli has now shared a video of him working out at the gym. The 33-year-old is seen undergoing an intense workout session.

In the 30-second-long video, Kohli is seen lifting weights, doing squats, and exercising for the abdomen.

He will find form in Asia Cup: Sourav Ganguly

While Virat Kohli fans await a long-due century from the batter, former India captain and BCCI President has imposed faith in Kohli and has predicted that the 33-year-old will regain his form in the Asia Cup. Ganguly called Kohli a big player and said that he has already scored plenty of runs and knows how to make a comeback.

"Let him practice, let him play matches. He is a big player and has scored plenty of runs. I am hopeful that he will make a comeback. He is just not being able to score a century and I believe he will find his form in the Asia Cup," Ganguly was quoted as saying in an interview with India Today.

Notably, Kohli has not scored a century since November 2019. While the batter was scoring half-centuries in the past year, he has struggled to even get to the 50-run-mark this year. In the recently concluded England tour, Virat Kohli did not manage to make even 100 runs across the entire tour in all three formats.
